Most of the people use mosquito repellent in order to solve this problem without considering the fact that these sprays are abundant with chemicals that can have a negative effect on your health.
The smell of the chemicals remains even after using repellent, meaning that you are constantly inhaling it. So, you should always choose the natural solution.
Vitamin B1 also referred to as thiamine is a mineral essential for your body. This vitamin will help you to boost immunity and fight stress. It can be found in foods as eggs, oatmeal, kale, asparagus, yeast, and brown rice.
You should not be worried about taking too much vitamin B1 because any excess of it will be eliminated through urination, as in the case of any other water-soluble vitamin.
When it comes to its relation with mosquitoes, we need to mention that this vitamin can change the smell and make it unappealing for the mosquitoes. Actually, it has the ability to make your smell “yeasty” to them, thus keeping them at bay.
Even though the conclusion is not final and further studies need to be done, you should definitely try it! It is completely natural, without any side effects.
In fact, a number of people who have tried it claim that it is extremely effective. Dr Cameron Webb is a medical entomologist who claims that taking vitamin B will effectively keep mosquitoes at bay.
Moreover, people with anorexia, gastric bypass, Crohn’s disease, and chronic alcoholism are highly recommended to take B1 supplements as these conditions lower vitamin B1 levels in the body.
In order to keep mosquitoes at bay, you can take B1 supplements or make your own mosquito repellent. If you choose to take supplements, you should take 100mg of thiamine a day.

This is true, and a doctor gave me this advice in 1974 when I saw him for a bug bite that became infected (I'm really reactive to bug bites). B-1 doesn't always prevent the bites but keeps them from getting large and infected, and they heal much faster.
